Too Hot to Handle

PSA: I LOVE BAGS!! Okay, I love bags, shoes, clothes and makeup. But this post is specifically dedicated to my brand new handbag from mark. that I would LOVE to share with you.

As an Avon representative, I am allowed to demo products before they actually debut. (Perks of the job!)

So in hot pursuit of a new bag to carry to work everyday, I came across a new handbag in Magalog 2 (which is in alignment with Avon Campaigns 4&5) and I knew immediately that I had to have it,

I got it two days ago and I just got the opportunity to switch over the contents from my previous bag to this one. I must say this bag is absolutely awesome. Here are a few details on the bag.

• This season, the bird's the word! A luxe texture mix of faux ostrich and faux leather will have heads turning
• 3 interior pockets: 2 slip pockets at front, 1 zippered pocket at back; 2 exterior side flap pockets with non-working buckles and hidden snap closures
• Faux ostrich and faux leather with goldtone hardware
• 16" W x 5" D x 11" H (6 1/2" handle drop)

The bag is so spacious inside it holds all my essentials and I still have room to fill it up (which I definitely am guilty of)
Here's a look inside my bag so far...

The Hot To Handle bag is so chic, sturdy and just plain awesome in my opinion. The neutral color easily matches all outfits. There's nothing that I don't like about this bag. Honestly. It retails for $36 and that is a great deal for a handbag with such great quality.

The Hot to Handle bag doesn't come out for another two weeks but in the meantime, you can register yourself on my online shop and  take a look around. You may find something you really love, like the new fragrance by Fergie called Viva.. it literally is the best thing I've smelled all year! My new favorite fragrance.

We all love a little drama [CONTEST]

you are anything like me, you aren't blessed with the thickest, longest lashes and mascara and falsies. I just love the drama and mystery that a full lash gives my look.
So if you ARE indeed like me, then you know what it is to try a dIfferent mascara every month. This one lengthens, that one boosts volume, and the other one just just plain..... messy.
So I think my search for an affordable mascara that addresses my lash dilemma has come to a climatic end.

<-- I don't know if you can tell the difference with this photo.

I'm pretty sure you see the difference here though. Excuse my brows, we're overdue.

Super Drama has a uniquely designed fan brush that makes every lash fuller and longer. I thought that fact really put it over the edge. Well, what really gets it off that cliff is the fact that there is absolutely NO clumping! (Clumped lashes:You've been there. Dont act like you haven't)
I decided that I love this mascara SO much that I have to share the wealth. One lucky reader will win 2 Super Drama mascaras. You can keep both for yourself or you can give one to a friend. It's your choice!
Contest Rules
1. You must live in Nassau, Bahamas. (Sorry to my international followers and readers. At the moment I cannot ship outside of the Bahamas.)
2. You must become a follower of the blog.
(On the right hand side of the blog there will be a widget that shows the members [followers] of the blog)
3. Once you have become a member, leave the comment "I can't get enough drama".
Additional entries can be made by sharing this blog post on social networks (ie. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, etc.) For each network you get 1 additional entry. You will have to make note of this in the comment bar below.

The contest will run until Sunday, September 16 at 8:00 pm

Super Drama, and other wonderful products from Avon & Mark, can be purchased online by local and international customers by following this link ---->

Keeping up with Kim Kardashian's Wardrobe

I have not yet explained my love for the Kardashian/Jenner family. I'm totally obsessed with those silly and impeccably stylish family members. Part one of KUWTK season finale airs at 9 tonight and in my excitement I started to think about what has been happening to Kim's style lately. When she isn't professionally styled for a photoshoot, lately she's been looking...boring. Gorgeous, but not the sultry Kim we have come to know. The video below explains how her boyfriend Kanye has recently been styling her.

Watch "Kanye West Helps Style Kim Kardashian" on YouTube

It's not all bad... but it certainly is different.
(Sidenote: watching her make that ramen made me laugh...I don't know why)

What do you think about Kim's style evolution?

Short Bit: Dangerously Dramatic Eyes

So I was scanning through Facebook early one morning while [pretending to] get ready for work and I stumbled across this look on Go Jane's FB page. I was so captivated by this photo.. I loved everything about it. From the perfect arch of her brows to the lash definition on the top and bottom.
I think this weekend when I decide to step out.. I'll have to do a similar look. Only problem I have is that I'll need some glitter.
Well it's Friday...we'll see what I can get into..
I'll be sure to post the look later and list all the products that I used. =)

P.S. I may just be using the colors of the Bahamian flag... as we celebrate our win in the Men's 4x400m Relay at the 2012 London Olympics this afternoon.

Bahamian Pride =)

An Oldie... but a Goodie!

I recently realized that someone must have stolen  my face scrub had gone missing. I couldn't find it any where and it drove me crazy. So this week, I realized that my face had started to look a bit dull... and that completely freaked me out. [I know we've all been there.. and if you haven't... Just allow me to be sad ='(]

Anyways... as I made a stop to a local grocery store... I came across something I haven't seen in years...
St. Ives Apricot Scrub. I remember as a child, my mother would use it and I ALWAYS dabbled in her beauty and skin care products. So I would use it sometimes to scrub my skin. (Not that exfoliation was necessary for my face at the time) Needless to say, due to a rush of old memories that came crashing into my brain, I quickly picked up one of the scrubs for myself. I mean, I really needed something to exfoliate with anyway. Therefore, I had no other choice... the coincidence was too great.

I have really sensitive skin and this is one of the best face scrubs that I have tried in a while. It is not drying at all, and it provides the deep clean and exfoliation that I really was seeking. Additionally, this is a very attractive product because the retail price is so cheap for the quality that you receive.
It goes without saying, my skin is beautifully radiant today and I love it.

What beauty products take you back to your childhood? What skin care items can't you live without?
